The neighbors next door have a new baby,..well actually he was born in April, so he's not acutally brand new, but new to the proud new parents. I told the new mom that I would love to make something for him and I found it in the KnittingWorkbook by Debbie Bliss.
The name of the pattern is Baby's Top with Seed Stitch trim. I'm finished with the front, back and now working on the first sleeve. All has gone well, and I seem to be progressing well. I chose a washable yarn made by Mission Falls. It is so hot here in Kansas, so I find refuge from the heat inside, happily knitting away.
